“Listening to Birds” engages visitors to listen to the sounds of birds recalling memories of bird sounds from their neighborhood, from exploring the world, from their childhood, and from the lands of their ancestral homes.

This site was created by LuLu LoLo and is inspired by her love of birds and the numerous birds she discovered by looking out her window in East Harlem, New York

Who is LuLu LoLo?

LuLu LoLo is a visual/performance artist and a playwright/actor for over 25 years with a lifelong love of birds and their songs.

Currently on view until March 26, 2023
